Hi, I'm Chinmay Pradhan!
A Former ATP Tennis Professional and the first player from Odisha to go to the International Tennis Arena, the ATP World Rankings win National Men's Titles in both Singles and Doubles. I have completed my Sports Management from Xavier's Emylon Business School and have a double Masters Degree in Rural Management and Developmental Journalism. A Social Entrepreneur and Director of Gurukul Resorts & Country Club, the first and only Lawn Tennis Resort in India.
Initiated Pilot Projects such as "Rural Tennis Opened Up", recognised by the Department of Sports and Youth Services, Govt. of Odisha and the Wheelchair Tennis Program called "First Serve at Mendhasal" in collaboration with Indian Wheel Chair Tennis Tour (IWTT). As a part of the Global Shapers Community, I have represented the Bhubaneswar Hub at the ACM 2018 at WEF, Geneva and SEA 2019 at Colombo and Kandy, SriLanka.
Tennis as a sport has let me grow as an individual and let me explore my capabilities. The sport teaches you the realistic aspects of life in split seconds. It demands you to stay calm and channel your aggression, cherish victory and accept defeat sportively.
Each shot we play has a different trajectory and momentum, symbolising the beauty of our existence. So let's enjoy and go with the flow.
